Dr. G. Douglas Beck DDS
Dr. Beck received his DDS degree and BS in biology in 1977 from the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed a general practice residency at Marquette University and VA hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1978. After associating for 3 years, he established his private practice, Wildwood Dental, in 1981 in the newly forming community of Mill Creek.
Since that time his practice has experienced steady growth and progression and has built a large patient base. After 15 years practicing solo, he formed a partnership upon completion of an extensive expansion and remodeling of the original facility. The group practice continued to thrive and partners were added in 1998 and in 2005.
Dr. Beck has been president of the Snohomish County Dental Society, a board member of the Snohomish County Dental Foundation and chairman of the Washington State Dental Association Committee on Dental Benefits. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Washington Dental Service (Delta Dental) and also the Washington Dental Service Foundation.
Doug was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. He and his wife were married in 1977 and reside in Woodinville where Doug enjoys landscaping and gardening projects, and Linda works with their four horses at a nearby dressage facility and continues with her painting. Doug is also involved in computer technology projects and consulting on business technology applications. He was a co-founder and board member of a technology company that provides patient payment solutions for physicians and hospitals.
Dr. Linda Kim DMD
Dr. Linda Kim received her DMD in 2013 from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. She did her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College in Wellesley , MA graduating magna cum laude with a BA degree in chemistry. Linda enjoyed the smaller class size at both colleges where she received numerous honors, awards and scholarships. During her undergraduate tenure she tutored students in chemistry and mathematics and she also taught English as a second language.
At Harvard she emphasized serving people’s dental needs. Dr. Kim served as Administrative Coordinator for Pediatric Clinics with the Cambridge Health Alliance Windsor Street Clinic. She was also the Harvard director of the ‘Give Kids A Smile’ annual event serving over 100 low-income children.
Dr. Kim was born in Korea and immigrated to the US when she was 11 years old. She grew up in the small town of Farmington, Connecticut. Linda married her husband Sangho Lee in 2013, and they moved to Seattle for her his new job at Amazon.
Linda and Sangho are enjoying all that Washington has to offer and are looking forward to exploring the state. Linda enjoys hiking and swimming and is also an avid cook and baker.
