Q. How long does it take to get an appointment?
A. We have same day emergency appointments and we usually see new patients within a day or two. We offer appointments from 7 am to 7 pm, and we are open Monday through Friday to accommodate your busy schedule. We want to make it easy for you and your teeth!
Q. How modern and up to date are you?
A. We utilize digital radiography (x-rays) and imaging. We offer some of the most progressive caries and periodontal (gum) disease prevention programs that are based on current clinical research. Our goal is to prevent teeth and gum problems for you ñ before they happen ñ or before they get worse! We truly want you healthier than when you walked in.
Q. How can I afford my dental care?
A. We are committed to making your dental care affordable. We love to see your facial expression when we show you how we can work it out so that you can get that smile you have always wanted. We accept most insurance plans including Delta, Regence, Premera, Met Life, Cigna, Aetna, Assurant and Guardian. We offer Care Credit financing and we offer discounts for major care that may surprise you. Our goal is to make happy people and happy smiles!
Q. I am a very nervous patient, and I have some fears from previous experience. When I finally do manage to make it to your office, how can you help me through my fears?
A. You will be pleasantly surprised to find how caring each and every one of our staff members are in making you feel welcome and comfortable. We offer nitrous oxide (free of charge), blankets and headphones. If your past experiences have been difficult, we also offer conscious sedation to allow you to be absolutely relaxed and anxiety free; you can practically sleep through your appointment. All you need is a friend or family member to drive you to and from your appointment. Conscious sedation is a wonderful way to reduce the stress of your dental appointment.
Q. How can I feel more confident with my smile – at work and in social situations?
A. Today we can fill teeth with shade matched filling material so no one will ever know your teeth have fillings in them. We use the latest in shade matching technology for fillings, veneers and ceramic crowns. We take pride in making our work as invisible as possible. Q. Why do my teeth ache when I eat/drink cold foods?
A. Cold sensitivity in teeth can be caused by a number of circumstances. It might be a case of gum recession or old fillings that are leaking and conducting the temperature. Annoying as this can be for you, we do have solutions regardless of the cause.
Q. Why do my gums feel sore or bleed when I brush and/or floss?
A. Gum problems are a very real concern today. Todayís research has shown that the bacteria involved with gum disease release inflammatory mediators that contribute to other conditions such as diabetes, heart conditions, stroke, COPD and some cancers. However, gum disease is treatable and containable. It requires effort on you part and professional care on our part. But we are prepared to help you and get you on the road to better health. It is not as hard as you think ñ come talk to us about it.
Q. How can I fix a gap in my teeth because I naturally have a gap or I lost a tooth?
A. All of us in our lives have had to make a choice in priorities and perhaps had a tooth extracted or did not have the opportunity for braces. Today there are many ways to fill that gap, including implants. We can complete that smile and have you grinning from ear to ear with confidence.
